Mitre Peak Cruises

Myself and David Oakley have been working on a project for Mitre Peak Cruises and Samsung for a little while now and it is finally ready to unveil!

Mitre Peak Cruises were looking for a point of difference at their terminal in Milford Sound. They approached us with the goal of developing content for a near 20 foot 9:16 aspect ratio video wall.

To achieve this David Oakley combined a series of still images that I shot on a  Canon 5D MKIII together with 4K 60p video he shot from a GH5. David, being an after effects wizard, then spent countless hours merging the stills to produce an ultra-high resolution image of the waterfall as well as the 4K video of the waterfall to produce a cinema-graph. This was all the more complicated being that we could only shoot from a boat!

Both the client and ourselves are incredibly pleased with the result and have heard it has been the talk of Milford!
